The international Symposium on Health Insurance for Informal Sector in Tanzania will take place in Dar es Salaam on 12-13 February 2019. This event brings together key stakeholders and experts concerned with the future direction of the Community Health Funds (CHF) in Tanzania. It offers an opportunity for creating a forum to discuss the progress and the future directions of health insurance schemes with a focus on the Tanzanian rural population and informal sector. The openIMIS Initiative and is software will be presented in the session „Technology for Managing Health Insurance – Experience with IMIS in Tanzania and other countries, and the openIMIS Initiative“ and experiences will be shared.
