Representatives of the openIMIS initiative will be present at the Global Symposium on Health Systems Research, which is organized every two years by Health Systems Global, unites approximately 2,000 experts from health systems and policy research and practice. The Symposium takes place at the ACC in Liverpool (UK) from 8 to 12 October, 2018.

Conference topics will include innovative ways to finance health, deliver services, engage health workers and form new social and political alliances. In addition, novel applications of technologies to promote health for all will be explored. The conference aims to foster discussions on questions relating to multisector action towards realizing the SDGs, universal coverage, private sector engagement and community health systems.
